(s)low impact goods: Illustrated Logo

Visual Design, Illustration, Brand Development

(s)low impact goods is a new local retail concept featuring a curated collection of sustainable and ethically made products. The owner, Erin, was in need of a logo to start building brand recognition at pop-ups before building out her brick-and-mortar concept. She wanted the brand to feel playful, androgynous, approachable, and merch-able (something people would want to rep on a tote bag). The primary logo features hand-lettering with a holding shape for the “s” in slow, allowing it to read as “low-impact” and “slow-impact”, reinforcing the importance of slow-living and mindful consumerism. The color palette offers a combination of bold hues and warm neutrals.
